The Cycling Maps Volume 1 is a 8.5" x 5.5" booklet available free of charge at area bicycle and motorcycle shops, tourism centers and other visitor information locations. The booklet contains 10 cycling routes starting in La Crosse, Holmen, West Salem, and Onalaska traveling through Melrose, Mindoro, Sparta, Viroqua, Chaseburg, La Crescent, New Albin, Lansing and more. These routes are all road routes appropriate for bicycle and motorcycle riders of an intermediate or experienced level. Routes include distances from 23 miles to 101 miles and difficulties from relatively flat to 5 hill climbs.
