7 Rivers Region Recreation Guide

The 7 Rivers Region Recreation Guide is designed to promote the number of unique recreational opportunities in this region. The Guide is organized by categories of interest to easily allow the reader to locate all of the options available to them in our area. For example in the 2008 Guide,
Canoeing/Kayaking Rentals has seven businesses (2 in IA, 2 in MN and 3 in WI)
Canoeing/Kayaking has twenty eight places to paddle (4 in IA , 11 in MN, and 13 in WI)
In 2009, the 7 Rivers Regional Recreation Guide strives to include more activities and locations throughout the entire region and possibly add an online searchable version of the Guide. |

In 2002 based on research identifying the region and its unifying characteristics, the name 7 Rivers was created. The purpose of the 7 Rivers Region was to provide a unifying name to the businesses, residents and governmental entities of the towns, villages, cities, counties and states that are dependent upon one another for their shopping, tourism, employment and services.
The purpose of the 7 Rivers Region Visitors' Guide is take that original goal of the region to the next level. For more information on the 7 Rivers Region |
